I've seen this mentioned on antler pipes. What exactly is it? Could it be used to repair meerschaum pipes? I've read where people have used self drying clay. Not in the bowl area. Just to repair a carving or shank crack after it's glued. Is it some bs name someone stuck on some concoction? Thanks

I did Google it. Found squat. That's why I asked here. If its a meer dust concoction, then where do the people making those antler pipes find the stuff?

Found meerschaum powder on Google. Didn't know to look for it. They sell it in China. Didn't see any other sellers like in Turkey. Unless its way further down. Doesn't look cheap or easy to get in small quantities. Is this the same stuff they use to make pipes they call enchase? Or cheap meer pipes that don't color over time?

I wonder if it'd be better to use instead of egg whites and plaster of Paris to fix cracked or broken meers? Thanks
