Thanks. I would keep takin the pipe away from him. And one day we just let him go. Next thing me and my wife know he was sharin a pipe with dad. He would take a "puff" then pass it to me. Then take it back. Its funny how it seemed to put him in deep thought as though you and I may be aswell.
Somewhere in a box of old photos, I have a picture of me at age 5 sitting on a small chair looking at a picture book with an empty cob in my mouth. The cob didn't really stick, I only have a couple but I've lost count of all the briars I own :D
I have 2 bubble pipes my sons play with while I smoke my real pipe. when i'm online looking at pipes, they always look with me and tell me which ones they think are "cool"..
I like the pic scott well cool and the saying to that is teach em young hahaha joke. But who's to say one day father and son wouldn't enjoy a smoke of their favourite in a contemplating mood. Most definitely a father and son activity even with uncle and grandad.
never to be forgotten memories.
ive lost count of the cigaretts ive smoked just because my grand daughter wanted to help me light one, and god forbid me putting it out before it was finished. lord help me when the great grand daughter learns she wants to help me light my pipe.
out of my 'clan' my soninlaw and i are the only smokers.
I remember as a kid, we used to just play with corn cob pipes. But we also found bubble pipes recently for our kids, I think at Target or Wal-Mart. If not there, then sometimes dollar stores have them.
Great pic - I've got a fourteen month old who thinks dads pipes are simply amazing too. I gave him an MM Pride to "puff" when we're in the yard together, I worry that at his age, he would simply drink the bubble solution were we to get him a bubble pipe.
I found some bubble pipes today and my boys couldn't be more happy now. Didn't give them any bubble solution as I too am sure they will drink it.But they are happy pretending.
That's very cool. I remember having a bubble pipe as a kid, too. I'm surprised the gestapo will allow them to be sold now. Here's one I posted in my Pfeife Rauchen group. I found the cause of the constant gurgle in my kaywoodie...
