I'm sitting here on the back porch, having finished the day's labor and looking out over the pleasant sunny backyard of rolling grass, beyond which the city belches pollution and discontent into the atmosphere.
It makes me think that modern life is really gay. By that I mean the old usage of the term, cheerful, happy, carefree, playful, that kind of thing. As we watch the entropy rage around us, our only solution is to really make blithe merriment or we will get dragged down into the abyss with everyone else who takes life seriously.
With that, it's time for a bowl of Prince Albert.
