Since taste buds vary and we have such a wide variety to choose from I say we make a top 5. Basically list your top 5 flakes. After 1 full week of posts I will go through all the posts and tally up which 5 flakes appeared in everyones lists the most and create a top 5 list from there.
1.Solani 660-Silver

2.HH Old Dark Fired

3.Samuel Gawith Full Virginia

4.Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye

5.Peterson Irish Flake
Unfortunately I am fairly new to the hobby so my exposure is limited. I am really excited to see the results.

My Tuppence worth:
Condor Long Cut - unadulterated bliss.

Ogdens Walnut Flake - sublime, utterly sublime.

Erinmore Flake - why not?

Petersons University Flake - just perfect at being what it is.

Marlin Flake - for those special occasions.

Good Thread.
In no order:
Astley's 44

Old Ironsides

GH Brown Flake

Germain's Special Latakia Flake

Germain's Rich Dark Flake
This list would've been a helluva lot easier with a top 10 or 15.

1. Old Dark Fired

2. St. James Flake

3. Stonehaven

4. Brown Flake unscented

5. Bright CR
That is pretty much the order I smoke these days. Occasionally, I will also smoke some Murray's Erinmore Flake, University Flake, Irish Flake, Dark Flake and on special occasions, Kingfisher. OK, so that is really my top 10.
Three that I want to try are the Capstan Blue, Astley's #44 and I think the Dunhill Flake. That one may be to light in the vitamin N department but I am still curious about it.
