so recently i have been looking for a freehand pipe with a good size bowl and a classy look i believe i have found it and was just wondering what yall think. do you think it would supply a good long smoke? i currently have a large bowl corncob but as is the problem with corncobs the longer you smoke them the hotter they get the shorter they last. here is the link at Cupojoes...

It doesn't matter what we think...if you're happy with it then by all means be happy. Smoking a pipe is a personal joy so what counts is how well you like it.

Freehands have grown on me greatly in the last year or so. I have to say I love that one. Great color and character. Plus I love the stem that's on it. Like simpledesign said, it's for you so if you like it go for it.

Looks good and looks like a pretty big bowl. Those squares are 1 inch, so the bowl is about 1 inch wide by 2 inches deep. I would call and check availability. It's happend twice with cupojoes, where I ordered a pipe that was no longer in stock.

I once owned a large Nording free hand. The bowl was huge and I did like the pipe, but it is the only pipe I have ever owned that suffered a burnout and that burnout happened in less than a year. It was early in my pipe smoking career, and I did smoke a little hot then, but none of my other pipes ever burned out. I haven't bought a Nording since. Then again, my tastes have changed quite a bit since then and I'm not really a fan of large pipes anymore.

Very nice pipe.

I have several of the "Large Frame" free-hands. However; my tastes have changed...

I have recently begun to lean toward the more "traditional" shapes.

But, you can't beat the sound of the echo coming from a bowl that can hold an ounce of 1Q. :D
So...

What do I think?....

I think I'll have a martini.
