So I'm running low on my tobacco stock..I plan a trip tomarrow hopefully to the "shop"..there are so many tobaccos I want to try..I am interested in cakes, twist and flakes..thus far I have had a tin of virgina flake which I really liked a lot..anyway not really the point..the point is I was feeling nervous about being low on my stock and didn't feel like buying captain black. So I bought one of those big 12 oz bags at the drug store..it was a risk I know..but thus far it is really not bad! Better then I had thought it would be..I bought a 12 oz bag of natural by Vintage..nope I never heard of it either. Distrubuted by dream castle tobacco..its fresh, smooth and has a nice sweet natural flavor..I hope it last. The fresh taste. But I figure at the very worst it will be a great tobacco to mix with..but its really rather nice. And all for 20 bucks...not bad..so those of you (newbies like me)who have been scared to try those...well there's my 2 cents or 20 dollars.

Happy smoking

I kinda recall that at one time Dream Castle had a blend that was very popular.

I never smoked "whatever it was", so I don't remember the name. Maybe someone else can...

echopipe, I'm going to try this if I can find it. Some reviews of Dream Castle pipe tobaccos here. Be sure to consider posting your comments on the review sites for others to read. I go there every day to see the new reviews.

I don't know but shouldn't you get great tobacco for little money at smokingpipes.com?
like that one:

http://www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/by-maker/Balkan-Sasieni/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=174
or if you buy in bulk:

Peter Stokkebye blends are the best bang for the buck I have found . Good quality at reasonable prices. Most of the inexpensive tobaccos just have too much chemical taste for me.

Tobacco Galleria blends arent too bad and are pretty cheap but Uncle Arthur is right about Stokkebye tobacco, well known quality for a decent price.

Dream Castle tobacco is the same company as Altadis tobacco. I figured this out when I got the free sample of Sutliff Private Stock tobacco, which came in a package from Dream Castle! Altadis also makes the Tobacco Galleria blends.

I have recently received 2 Stokkebye blends. The one that I have smoked a couple of times, "Mocha" is really good. You can actually taste the Mocha flavoring. I am waiting to get around to taste the other one when I get the chance.
They are very inexpensive. Perhaps you should buy a smaller sample of his different blends.

So I looked it up on tobacco reviews.com as suggested and it looks like it is the same as "super value".which I do have a pouch of their vanilla which is o.k. too.

However I made it to the shop today and broke the budget..I got ESCUDO navy de luxe, Samuel Gawith Navy flake,Macbaren Vanilla flake some 1Q and as mentioned Peter stokkebye english luxury..I have yet to try either navy blend but will very shortly and I agree about PS blends. I really like the english luxury. I've also tried his golden dansk which was also nice..but I am still glad i bought the big bag of budget..its nice to feel that its always there and your not going to run out..I will work on cellaring at some point. But I am to busy smoking what I have to start. Well and as this all started the ever important budget!!!

I need to order online like u guys said because even with shipping it will cost less then the one place I have to go that is not an hour away..

Next is jack knife plug..: )

Happy smoking!!!!

Some of the best etailers in the business advertise here. My two regulars are smokingppipes.com and pipiesangcigars.com. Never had anything but super service from either. Great people!

Also, some sites advertize free shipping over a certain amount spent on the order. Both of unclearthur's suggestions offer free shipping at around the $100 level, prior to shipping charges being added of course.

marscigars.com has some competitive prices, but doesn't advertise here. I'm going to suggest to them that they do so.
