In my second post here I said I was unable to smoke my pipes because I choked up. Thanks to your tips I've learned to smoke so that I don't. Thank you for that. So now I've decided to learn more about different tobacco types. To do that I ordered the following samples:

Sutliff J4 Burley, Sail Yellow Match, 707 Sweet Virginia, and Duke Albert, Mac Baron 7 seas Gold, and a 1.5 oz. pouch of Sir Walter Raleigh.

I wanted to try Prince Albert but it seems to be scarce in the pouch size. So, I got the Duke Albert instead. I got them all from SmokingPipes.

So far, I like the SWR and 7 seas Gold the best and the 707 Sweet Virginia the least. I didn't like the Burley at first but it was better after letting it dry out a couple days. I know I'm still not getting the best out of them. I'll keep practicing my packing and puffing until I get it right and maybe I'll like them all.
