LC Based Commission

So after seeing an eBay add and then reading the discussion on here, I fell a little in love with the Dunhill LC shape.

I couldn’t find one I could afford/was available so I commissioned Chris Herriot at Oiseau Briars (link to his page is here) to use the shape as inspiration.

It arrived today and I’m beyond delighted. Had a short smoke and it’s a cracker.

this perfectly sums up my opinion of Dunhills. You got a beautiful custom made pipe because the price of an estate pipe that is no better (as far as I can tell) was too expensive.

Looks pretty huge to me as well but most of the LC clones tend to be larger.

My Tinsky is a freaking beast but I love it. I think the Max Capp models are over 7” in length as well. Dave Neeb had an original Dunhill that was ginormous too if memory serves?
