That is so cool, buckeye. I really want to craft my own pipes as a hobby, but I have no teacher. If I was in the countries where there're pipe masters, I'd certainly be an apprentice somewhere. I have high regards for craftsmen, they're dying breed in the industrial age such as ours. There's a kind of wisdom about life that comes from manual skills.

thanks. the black is called USMC BLACK. i used the gouger tool that searock told me about. it turned out nice and smokes great.hears the back of the pipe.

not yet uncle art. anyone can drill a hole lol. just working on my finishes and rustic work. been talking to the fine folks at pimo for the next step. i may vist tim west.
