Actually that was a little meh for me but whatever. Though nice thing now I don't feel bad for the times I put the pipe back without cleaning it.
My theory on why waiting a minute or two after priming the smoke before starting in earnest improves things. Lets the oils and stuff lightly soak into the rest of the tobacco. Or that would be my first guess.
Yeah latakia it's like Latakia and nothing else.

I loved Latakia until I was about 65 then suddenly i developed a dislike for and a taste for Vapers. So, I switched of to the light side and things went a long for 8-10 years just fine. And then I tried some Westminster and my love for latakia is back. So here I am smoking latakia and Vapers both and loving them.

Nice article, thanks for posting Kevin, and thanks for writing it Greg! :) 👍

When I originally started smoking it was pretty much English Latakia blends. Getting back into smoking, I’ve switched gears, I’m not such a fan for English Latakia blends unless the Latakia is very light, just a slight condiment, otherwise I do find it over powers everything.

For me Bankside has a really nice gentle touch of Latakia. I noticed when I dry the blend quite crispy, it’s presence is ever so slight/subtle, I find it creates a very nice ambience to the blend.

Thanks to Bankside, I will certainly always be on the look out for similar nice, lightly added Latakia blends.
