Last Smoke That's Also A First Smoke Before The Rains Come

Just filled my new Meer with some Esoterica And So To Bed and had a sublime smoke on the back deck at my parents house before the rains off Florence finally arrive.
The Meer smokes fantastic and the tobacco is mighty fine too. Only issues I had are the winds are kicking up and made my ember a little warmer than I wanted, making a little gurgle which I fixed with embers' cover the bowl and sling method. Worked like a charm!

It smoked all the way down to very little dottle, if any.

It's also a great defense if you're being attacked my ninjas (a pirates worst enemy).... fling some tobacco juice in their eye and make your escape.

Yeah, the "sling" is underrated, IMO. Clears moisture and shakes loose the ash for the ember to breathe.
