The driver was severely injured when the ice came crashing down. She is lucky to be alive.

Wow! I've seen "falling rock" signs along the highway but never saw anything like that.

That part of the highway has always been treacherous. I typically worry about avalanches on that road, not ice falling.

We had a hailstorm about 2 weeks ago and it came as a surprise to everyone. Started off as a thunderstorm then out of nowhere the winds kicked up and hail from the size of a quarter all the way to baseball size hit our city for over hour causing floods and damages everywhere, the whole city looked like a warzone from the hail damage. RV/Mobil home parks look like the houses where shot up. The hail froze so bad that it stayed frozen over the weekend in 90 degree weather.
