Lacquer Coating?

I have a number of Lacquer Coated Pipes, mostly Peterson Pipes and a lot of them are St. Patrick's Day. Has anyone ever had any problems with blistering or peeling. Thus far, I have not. But, I am extra careful too!

Brigham pipes are also lacquer coated. I have a number of Brighams and one of them blistered after my second bowl. I think it was my own carelessness that caused it though. I smoked it too hot. It was a Klondike shape 84. I called the B&M where I purchased it and they replaced it no questions.

I think if you break a lacquer coated pipe in slowly and smoke it cool it should be fine.
If your tobacco is a bit too damp let it dry out before you load up.
