I did not store my C&D Latakia properly and it did dry up. I figured since it is as dry as the Semois, might as well mix the two and try it out. Mixed them and packed a large bowl as tight as I can and it worked. This is definitely an end-of-day pipe. Definitely requires slow sipping but to my surprise no bite. Way better than the old Night Cap. Highly recommended!!

If you like that sort of blend, you might try C&D Bayou Night.

Interesting - but the dry latakia didn't give you any trouble?
I'd have thought the dry latakia would have added a harshness, even faster burn-rate and dirty flavor to the mix
I'd never smoke a dried out latakia without rehydration after having 2 bad past experiences
