I don’t know much about this pipe other than i love it and it was $41 ?

Seems to be a 1940s, Bulldog 79, i have some reading up to do. Pipe is in excellent shape other than a tiny tiny bit of charring in the rim.

I did read that about them, one of the first American pipe manufacturers. ??

it’s actually a very nice pipe, has a good weight and feel to it, just need to clean it up, im looking forward to smoking out of it.

LHS didn't stamp "Imported Briar" on their pipes until WWII was over, so it's post-WWII. Might be 1940s, may be later. That's about all one can say about it except for it looks like it'll be a great smoker. Congrats on a classy looking pipe, man.

The “clean and ready to smoke” pipe has gone through 2 round of everclear and cotton balls and they are still coming out black. Can’t wait to try it.

I can’t believe this pipe was $40, it cleaned up gorgeous and just smoked it for the first time and it’s a wonderful smoker, i did end up using a 3mm paper filter with it just because it’s such a wide open smoker. Absolutely fantastic!
