My dad used to smoke Kriswell pipe tobacco but can no longer find it. I would love to try to find it for him and I have searched and searched with no luck. Does anyone know if they still make it? If so, where can I buy it? If not, any ideas on a good alternative? Thanks so much!

(My contribution obviated by the previous post). If you can't buy it from overseas, then...
You might try sampling Danish tobaccos in the hope of finding something similar.
But that's easier said than done since Danish style blends abound.

You might start with Stokkebye products (under either Peter S. or Erik S.)

I do not remember to have seen Kriswill tobacco here in Danmark, perhaps it was made for export only.

Kriswill pipes was another matter, every tobacconist had a selection in the 60ties. They were made

in the town Kolding by Kriswork Briar Pipe Trading.

It's made by Dan Tobacco. I just reviewed it on Tobacco Reviews. It's the yellow tin though, a lighter tobacco but with plenty of flavors.
