OK, I'm going to share again.
If you go to kirstenpipes.com, they have replacement parts, and you can order new pipes ready made, or custom made. The prices seem reasonable to me.
My Kirsten should be waiting for me when we get back from camping. Usually I don't want to come home, this trip is going to be different.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But unless everything changed recently, there was a 4-6 month "back order" on pipes when I called them about a month ago. I ended up getting one NIB off the bay and got a few estates from Marty Pulvers.

Good luck to you, plateauguy, but don't hold your breath.
The latest word I have heard is that Kirstens is no longer making pipes. I think it is deceitful that they are keeping their web page open for orders. Their customer service and relations are a step below that of MacQueen Pipes in my book.
If your pipe isn't waiting for you and you want a metal pipe, you might consider a Falcon.

Hmm, well there was some talk a few months back that they had finally found a vendor to provide components at a reasonable price. However, their website certainly doesn't look any different than it has for years.

I'm back, and the pipe isn't here. I thought there would be a rainbow and the end of the storm (camping weather was terrible), no such luck. Rain, mud, and no pipe - not my best trip. Think I'll call them and ask what is going on . . .
