I have a mid-size Johs straight saddle stem bulldog that is shaped on the bottom so it sits bowl up, on its side, like some motorcycles on their kick stands, not a sitter, but with the same sort of feature to keep a lit pipe upright. Kind of a nifty feature. I have (about) five Johs, and they are all accommodating good smokers, some surprisingly light weight for their bowl size. People don't brag about Johs very often, but he's a Danish carver who does good pipes at good prices.
