Keeping a promise

From the bench of Virginia Pipemaker, John Eells, is this beautiful rusticated Apple made as a prototype for the CORPS '01 Pipe marked as #1.
I promised the gentleman I purchased it from that I would dedicate my first smoke in this pipe to him so John I'm keeping it smokey with some almost 11 y/o sugar flecked Esoterica Stonehaven.
