Pretty much the title. The pipe was unfortunately not just dip stained but dip varnished which was a bit of a headache to sand off-- perhaps thats a clue to the date? No number as per the thread title

Just reads:

Kaywoodie
Super Grain
Imported Briar

My guess is 80's but if anyone knows I'd be thankful

Stinger - is it there? If so, details would help.

Ah yes, sorry-- 3 hole of course, since this one seems fairly new. Holes are on the large side. No markings on the stinger either. If the pipe itself was numbered it'd be one of the "Small bent billiards"

Interesting observations, I have a Kaywoodie that's "dip varnished" too, or at least you can see the new and unsmoked bowl is glazed like glass.

Would love to know more about these pipes.

Is the bit nylon?

Not sure how to tell. It seems like a semi-hard, semi-shiny, very light weight plastic to me, softer than my other old kaywoodies which I believe are vulcanite. So I guess so, Nylon.
