The current inventory of new Kaywoodies seem to all have the stinger metal filters on the stem. After a smoke
do you just pipe cleaner the stem to the stinger, or do you always pull the pipe apart and clean both halves?
That seems like it would wear out a pipe faster. Most of my straight pipes without stingers or filters will accept
a pipe cleaner from the button to the bowl, and the more bent pipes will take a pipe cleaner at least to the bend
at the bowl. I only take most pipes apart only for a more thorough cleaning, not after every smoke. So, what's
the routine for a Kaywoodie with a stinger? I'm interested in owning one or two more U.S. machine made pipes--
Kaywoodie, Yellow Bole, maybe another Dr. Grabow. Thanks for suggestions, ideas on the Kaywoodie pipe cleaner
routine.
