Kansas City ~ Leewood Area.

Any recommendations for nice little B&Ms when I’m in that area in a couple weeks? Always try to hit some small retailers when i travel to spread the wealth.

There isn’t that much in KC that I’m aware of. Diebel’s has two locations but they are more about cigars and golf stuff these days. I’ve only been to their shop on the plaza which is probably 20mins from Leawood.

Personally I like to go to Outlaw Cigar which is north of the river and a lot farther from Leawood. It is also more about cigars than pipes but they have a pretty good selection of tobacco.


Cigar & Tabac 6898 W. 105th St., OP might be your best bet.
I’ve never been there but @kcghost can probably tell you more about it.

Cigar & Tabac is probably the only spot nowadays. There used to be a decent amount of good shops Diebels was the Mecca but, changed radically with the 90‘s cigar craze.

It's probably near 20 years since I've been there. But back then it was pretty nice.

Cigar & Tabac isn't the place it is still okay. The pipe guys meet there on Saturdays from 12-4pm on Saturdays. The do have of modest collection of McClellands but before you get excited be prepared to Fallon style pricing.

Outlaw has store now that is in Overland Park. They are good for cigars but not good for Pipes.

@kcghost thanks, not really into the McClellands that much, i know the horror of saying that. Still seems worth hitting to buy a couple tins while in town, stuff to smoke while there so i dint have to pack a bunch of extra stuff up.
