I’m a new pipe smoker, about 3.5 months in. I finally learned how to retrohale. It sure brings out a whole lot flavor that I’ve been looking for. It just tasted like slightly tobacco scented air before. It also slows down my rhythm and keeps my pipe cool. This is one of those ah-ha moments people told me about. I’ll see how it transfers to cigars too.
