I'm getting ready for the move back to the desert (AZ) and decided to join a group on meetup.com. It is a cigar group that meets up at different local establishments once a month to shoot the breeze and smoke cigars. I started my tobacco journey (wow 10 years ago now) with cigars. I rarely smoke a cigar maybe once or twice a year, but they do allow pipe smokers too. I figured it would be a good way for me to get out and network, find some places that allow smoking, and enjoy the occasional stogie. I'm also interested in seeing how the group is run so that in the future I can set up my own group for us pipe smokers. I'm looking forward to it and am going to try and make the meeting at the end of next month. The nice thing is its bring your own smokes and no club dues, but they also have some cool deals with local shops for discounts. I'll report back after the meeting and let you know how the piper in the group was treated
