Howdy All,
I've been searching for more information on this pipe and wanted to see if the community had any idea on who made it.
Joe Colombo was an industrial designer from the 1970s (made some amazing lighting/furniture) and he also designed a pipe for Butz Choquin (Optimal 121/122).
What I'm looking for is the pipe he was smoking in this photo below. I'd call it an angled churchwarden chimney.

The friendly SmokingPipes team thought it was likely a vintage "Pipe Dan" Danish pipe like this which is close, but the angle doesn't seem as intense as the one Colombo is smoking. Maybe it was custom?

Any thoughts or info would be greatly appreciated!

Results in burning the tobacco mostly to the bottom might vary, as they do with other tall-bowled pipes, but the visual aspect is certainly striking. Also, you need an adapted pipe tool or other tool to scoop the bowl, like maybe the handle end of an iced tea spoon or a thin screwdriver. Nothing distinctive is entirely easy.
