Recently I've been doing a little spring cleaning and came across a few pipes I had stashed away. One is a Jobey V58 a brand I'm not familiar with, but what I have seen is their logo on the stem is this true to all Jobey pipes. If it is a replacement stem they did a damn good job no overlapping or tool marks on the briar.

Fits like a glove.

Jobey has a complicated history and was located, at one time or another, first in France, then in England briefly, then in the U.S., and finally back to France. Many of the pipes have a screw-on stem. Recent versions often have spot carving and a fairly high gloss finish. I own one that I was told by a knowledgable retailer was made when they were in the U.S., but the stem says "France." So with that kind of a history, pinning down tool marks, or a logo, as being typical or original to the brand may be difficult. My Jobey and is a good smoker and seems to do best with aromatics.
