Love my 501s - they are the only Levis I've worn for decades but . . . they still run true to size for me, although I always am careful to check each pair before purchase to make sure the side seams are done right and the length is correct - there are significant variations, always have been because of quality control. I'm guessing you aren't talking about the shrink to fit version but maybe AI is confusing wearing a longer style (and ordering longer lengths) with jeans having intentionally incorrect labels?

Seems odd, but if that's what they are really doing I'll be on alert!

It never goes out of style. I love that material. I always feel younger and happier when I'm wearing these clothes—trousers, shirts, jackets. When I say younger, I mean spiritually, hahahahahaha............
Yep - it's a denim and classic, heavy cotton, gray hooded sweatshirt (don't call it a "hoodie"!) Saturday for me today! Some things never go out of style - I'd be wearing "sneakers" as well except for the overabundance of snow we're stuck with for the next few months, lol.

All my life, after 13 or so, I've worn 32" inseam. Lately, it seems 32" pair of Levi's are about 2" longer. 501. I thought I was shrinking for awhile. Then searching the Google, it says jeans are Longer now days due to latest fashion trend. Thank God I'm not shrinking, yet.
Unfortunately, most of us do lose height as the decades pass...

And the waist sizes are shrinking even faster. And shirts now shrink in the wash even more for some reason.

Here's the brand you jean wearers should check out:

As for me, I just don't find them comfortable anymore...maybe if I lost about 20 lbs. Plus I'm fortunate enough to work from home, so I'm in sweats 90% of the time.

The big change in 501s that I've noticed is the fabric doesn't last. They used to be durable. Not the couple of pairs I've bought in the last 5 years. And I don't wear jeans as often as I used to, but the fabric wears out, mainly at the top of the back pockets.
