James Upshall Query.

In my search for a James Upshall pipe I come across some marked 'Hand Made In England' and others marked 'Made By Hand'.
Not wanting to appear to be a total dimwit but what is the difference if indeed there is one?

As far as I can see: Handmade in England on rustic and Made by Hand on smooth pipes.

I can confirm that, I never noticed the distinction until now.

I can't help but wonder why they had different stamps for smooth and rusticated pipes though.
