Iwan Ries: Dunhill Trunk Show, Friday November 30

This Friday, November 30, 2012, Iwan Ries in Chicago will host their annual Dunhill Trunk Show. This is your channe to see everything Dunhill has for pipe smokers: pipes, pouches, tools, lighters, and tobacco. All are offered at special discounts. The USA Dunhill distributor brings hunders of pipes and everything for you to see and buy. This is a great event, at a great pipe shop, with a huge inventory of pipes, tobaccos and cigars. It is also a wonderful social event. I am going with several other Chicago Club members and we hope to see you all there.

I've been to Iwen Ries's twice now and have had great experiences with them both times. I've always felt at home there even when my wife and kids we're with me. I wish I had the the spare change to go for this event.

Yes, the house pipes of Iwan Ries are very good smokers. Over the 40+ years that I have been a customer I have purchased numerous house pipes and almost every brand of pipe from Iwan Ries. They continue to have an awesome inventory of pipes of every price and description, pipe tobacco from just about every blender in the world, and all the pouches, cases, lighters and tools that any pipe smoker desires. I have been going to the Dunhill Trunk shows for several years, and while the focus is on Dunhill, all the other pipes, tobacco and stuff are also available for purchase. Also, they have a very complete selection of cigars, and cigar lighters, cutters, humidors and cases in all price ranges. Friday will be a great day for pipe and cigar smokers at Iwan Ries, even if Dunhill is not your favorite pipe. Let me mention again that I am NOT an employee or affiliate of Iwan Ries, just a customer since 1970. By the way, you can smoke in the shop!

It is usually held on the Friday that is a week after Thanksgiving, but not the day after Thanksgiving. Watch the Iwan Ries website later this year.
