So I had a flash of inspiration this evening. Mr. Condorlover has a bit of an infamous mixture which I have heard good about, I believe it involves Tambulaka, black rope, and Condor. Its supposed to be a nic bomb. Well, I decided to make one of my own.
In my basement, between the severed doll heads, goats blood and communist reading material, I began my twisted ritual to create a beast. I cannot reveal the details lest you all succumb to the dark arts, but needless to say it involved a razor, Peterson Irish Flake rubbed and cut, C&D Burley Flake #1 also rubbed and cut, Brown Irish X cut into fine ribbons and topped off with C&Ds Haunted Bookshop. It writhes and curses in my cellar right now, as we speak, drying for several days before it can be unleashed upon the world. Its a real frankenstein, terrifying in its potential.
I've decided to call the blend Ghosts n Stuff after the famous song. I eagerly await trying it for the first time. I tried my best to get the eclectic cast of characters into an even consisteny; time will tell how well I do. My only regret is I didnt have 5 brothers to toss in there... Ill update ya guys to let you know if its any good. Anybody tried any thing like this? Did it work?

It's a good thing 5 Brothers was absent. Nasty nasty stuff. Tastes awful, smells like a cigarette. Yuck. To each, their own, though. Besides, tambolaka is more potent anyway.

5 Brothers, my god. Smoked a bowl full of it in a Dr. G. Big Pipe and promptly vomited. May god have mercy on your soul for the mixture you have unleashed.

Haha the responses to this topic have really made me laugh out loud. Thanks for the laugh guys.
I know I'm not the most sophisticated piper around, but I don't get the hate for 5 Brothers. Good strong blend, easy to pack and keep lit, always satisfying and surprisingly deep in taste. Its not sophisticated by any means but its nice to have something simple every now and then. And I'm not sure how you got that room note; when my buddies lit it up it smells like good burley baccy to me.
Regardless, smoke what you please, totally cool if you don't like the 5 Bros, but I think they deserve a bit more credit then they get.

That might be the issue I have with the smell. I'm not a huge fan of burley blends to begin with and I can only enjoy SWR and CH of the codger blends only as an every-now-and-then kind of thing. Also, I failed to say that I'm a total lightweight when it comes to Vitamin-N, so the potency of it is a turn off as well. That said, I do love a small bowl of Ten Russians and Nightcap is a favorite of mine.

Sounds like a fun experiment. I have some good nic heavy blends I might play around with and see what I can come up with. No 5 Brothers though. I think the pouch I tried was bad. It was bone dry and I should have added a little hydration because it burned like a campfire when I tried to smoke it.
I do have some Old Joe Krantz, Kendall Kentucky, Brown rope, and a few others though.
Interesting :puffy:

Chris,
This is the concoction that wakes the Old One! Im off to a wedding attended by several fellow pipers this week, if the blend is any good, I will be sharing it with them to see what they think. If its a hit, I may make a second batch, in which case I'll ship some your way!
Minor update, even the Brown Irish X is drying nicely. It smells wonderful and everything seems to be colluding quite well. Not sure when I'll light this sucker up, I want her to be plenty dry. Probably monday night when I rendevous with my brother Levi, he's a piper who likes em' strong like me.

Hehe Bullet,
That's a kickass idea, you can actually age the remaining for more and put some stress on it, pressure does wonders to anyone and anything if done right.
I am a big sucker for good smelling tobacco, heck I even smell the smoke I exhale ;) If it's good I am gonna post it for preorder in all the forums and groups I'm in. Consider this my advanced application for sole distributorship of the entire Asian Region. ;)
Cheers,

Chris :puffpipe:
