It's A Fine Day

Watered the roses. Watched cardinals and lovely house finches at the feeders. Cuddled the cats and just finished up a pot of Scottish Breakfast blend tea and a pipe while listening to Billy Strings. Life is fundamentally good.

Well I had to shovel out the septic drain and fix the electric fence for the cows. And contrary to what my wife says her shit doesn't smell like roses

Was watching coyote pups fighting over an old tennis ball very early this morning. An hour or so ago I was visited by a groundhog on my back porch while smoking. Birds singing, tree frogs peeping, I have to say that with the craziness going on, nature seems to be doing fine.

Still plowing snow here. At least we should have good water for hay production this summer.

Snowing today and got a visit from a moose cow and calf that have been hanging around for weeks. Chewed up the trees and pooped all over the yard, but its always worth it. Special creatures.

My riding mower will annihilate their dried up dook nugs come spring anyway. Free fertilizer.

Listening to the birds sing right now, in the smoking chair. Everything seems do serene out there. Hard to believe there's a "pandemic" under way.
