For those of you that use the Gloredo pipe cleaners, anyone notice that the 75-ct packs are not accurate? The envelope packaging seemed to separate, so decided to check to see if any cleaners were missing.
Ended up counted three different packs just in case the one was a fluke. None of the three packs contained 75 pipe cleaners. All three were under-filled (worst one only had 65) with some cleaners twisted in the package.
Normally use BJ Long's (made in the USA), but wanted to give the Gloredo (made in China) a try since it seemed to have positive reviews. Never thought one would need to check pipe cleaners.

I actually just bought a 75 ct pack of those, but didn't think to count! And as it turns out, they are way too big for my pipe stem; I used one and it "ate" through some of the stem...(probably my fault since they are obviously too tight)
so, I use the Long's as well now!

BJ Long cleaners are the best. I don't think anyone else makes at least 5 different varieties. (Regular, tapered, bristle, bristle tapered, and whatever they call the fat ones.)

Anything "Made in China" is guaranteed to be terrible quality.
Anything "Made in Japan" Is guaranteed to be the best quality.

Extra Fluffy, I think? They're made locally. I'd love to see the factory some time. I think it'd be neat to see how they're made.

Hey Jason... Not to hijack the thread... but, "How It's Made" on the Science Channel... has had "pipe cleaners" a few times lately.

It was interesting. The most interesting fact was that the "Craft" pipe cleaners are made from synthetic yarn... Pipe cleaners intended for actually cleaning pipes are made from the "more absorbent cotton yarn".
