Isolating

Well, it happened. I'm in isolation. I work in the microbiology lab at a regional hospital and I'm exposed to COVID and other nasties every day. I'm symptomatic for COVID and I'm awaiting the test results. Feel like shit and don't care to smoke. Hell, don't feel like doing much of everything.

Please, wear your masks!

I think I had it in March. Felt like I had been run over by a truck, plus fever and chills. The worst headache I’ve ever had. I know it’s controversial, but the Z-pak/HCQ worked for me. ?‍
I hope you start feeling better quickly. Lost your sense of taste yet?

crawdad, you're one of the heroes, and we need heroes, so take good care of yourself, make 'em feed you well, like the earlier post said, stay hydrated, and stay in touch here and otherwise. You may be alone, but you ain't isolated. Thank you for doing the brave duty at your work place. I started masking up when it looked silly, and wearing disposable gloves to shop, for myself, and for my wife with several vulnerabilities. Heal well.
