THAT looks like a pretty decent piece of briar to me. Rip out that stinger and it may just be a winner.

Oh if I hadn't just (like honestly just this minute...more on that in another thread) had a serious PAD attack I just might have. That shape and finish does tickle me in all the right ways.
One of these days though I may just cave and snap one up. I do have problems saying 'no' to a good deal.
