I'm going to second jefff on this one. Decent quality/good name pipe? Unsmoked? From 1945? Worth $38.00 to me any day. Keep an eye out for an unsmoked Missouri Meerschaum corn dog. That'd be worth 38 bucks, too!

I'll have to take another look. I've always seen lots of unsmoked MMs, but the unsmoked corndog has eluded me.

Corndogs are the bulldog version of a corncob pipe. One of the best looking cobs they ever made, in my opinion.

Sunny Cornwall, UK.
The second picture shows what looks like a huge mould colony growing in the bowl 8O
The seller also has a (pretty ugly) Wally Frank bulldog at $15 starting price.
Regards,
Jay.

Well it finally arrived. I have now washed the inside of the bowl, and inside and outside of the stem in iso-propyl alcohol. Now I am waiting it to dry.
Good
a. Looks un-smoked (Or cleaned thoroughly). There are no tobacco stains. A pipe cleaner dipped in alcohol came out slightly browned

b. Good shape for something from 1945 (Though I don't think it is 1945 - It is more like early 50's)

c. The stem is a tight fit
Bad

a. There is no magic cake - in the ebay picture there were cobwebs and molds (And magic cake). It came with insides cleaned, so looks like the seller has removed the cake

b. Defects (See picture)
