Irwin's Smooth Bent 'Bulldog' Tobacco Smoking Pipe made in London England #549 was my recent purchase from an estate sale. Can anyone tell me when this beautiful pipe was made?

Welcome Jerry! Some pictures of the stamping would be helpful. Is it a round "Made in London England" or straight line "London, England"? Straight line usually means before 1981, at least on GBD's. Irwins is a GBD second line and the 549 is a bent bulldog. I just posted the restoration of a GBD 549 in the Restoration section and own two other of that model, one of my favorite GBD shapes.
