"A full-bodied blend made of equal parts air cured, flue cured, and dark fired. True to the pure, unspoilt tobacco taste. Recommended for the experienced pipe smoker."
As per the label on the tin.
This leaves me with some questions.
air-cured, flue cured, and dark fired what? Tobacco I know, but what kind, Virginia?
True to the pure unspoilt tobacco taste, yet has some kind of toping? Irish liquor I think.
And why recommended for the experienced pipe smoker?
Dont get me wrong its great stuff, but whats with the statements on the label?
I have found that a lots of tined tobaccos say such simular things. They are ambiguous about the composition of the blend. (Dont get me wrong, I understand not giving away the formula) I would like to know basically if its a burly or a virginia.
Then the statement about pure tobacco taste when its clearly topped also gets me wondering what they mean.
The recommendation for experienced pipe smokes has me thinking. Why not the layman?
