Hi I'm Dan and I smoke a pipe! From Michigan. After making all my mistakes and learning on a cheap pipe, I visited Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint and purchased a 3/4 bent cayuga pipe handmade from Paul's son. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and showed me some "tricks of the trade".very satisfied and enjoying my new pipe.

Welcome aboard Dan. I'm a little over an hour south of Paul's.
Hoping to make a visit when I'm in the area for work. :puffy:

To buy a pipe on site from the carver's dad has to be among the best ways to go. Howdy, and welcome aboard.

Welcome! And yes that pipe will be one you never forget. It's not just some pipe you bought online. It has a story and a face to put to it.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the elite group of pipe smokers. One option I really like about this pipe is that I can clean it without taking it apart. Also Dan second generation pipemaker and tobacconist showed me his dad's pipe that is over 50 years old that he smoked from daily and it is still in perfect shape!
