Greetings,
I am happy to join this group. On and off, I've been a pipe smoker for 40 years, starting with a corncob pipe in my U.S. Navy days. I'm a regular pipe smoker now, enjoying my Savinelli rotation (Bing’s favorite, Dolomiti and Minuto). I still smoke a corn cob pipe for aromatics. I have a proclivity for English blends, especially heavy in Laticia; my go-to smoke is G.L. Pease Maltese Falcon (I love the tin note, as sour as it may be).
I ran into this forum through my Spotify account. While I love Joe Rogan podcasts, Brian Levine’s Pipes Magazine podcasts are slowly replacing him.
I'm especially interested in proposed tobacco legislation as my Ph.D. is in Public Policy and Administration; I frequently visit the Tobacco Legislation forum.
I live in Bakersfield, California, the last bastion of conservatism on the Left Coast-please don't hold that against me.
