Simon of LCS Briars interviewed Mark Tinsky tonight on YouTube. Tinsky started his American Pipe Company in Pennsylvania in the 1980’s after working in a pipe shop in his native New Jersey and bicycling across Europe and Asia as a young man. Now in his 70’s Tinsky still makes pipes full-time in Montana. He is a 5th Dan Black Belt in karate. His son Glen was also interviewed; he makes pipes in Easton, PA.
