While i was at the Kaywoodie plant, i was looking through all the old advertisements, and i cam across an interesting fact. Back when pipe smoking was much more popular, 1900-1950, Kaywoodie pipes were more expensive than Dunhill pipes! Who would have thought, Kaywoodies more than Dunhill!?!

My son's great grandfather gave me a Kaywoodie lighter with flints. looks like they came with the lighter when he bought it. i'm hopeing to take it to one of the local pipe shops and see if it still can be used.

Find one of those old Kaywoodies and you'll see why.

Of course, the price you'll pay TODAY for a pre 1940's Kaywoodie would buy you a used Dunhill.
