Glad you liked it. I'll wait for the DVD.

I rewatched the previous 4 not too long ago. IMO Last Crusade held up the best over all this time...Temple of Doom was by far the worst. I know most will say Crystal Skull was the worst, but I actually like it better than Temple.

Temple was the worst. Crystal Skull... It wasn't exactly good with space alien stuff, but definitely better than the Temple. Lost Ark is still my favorite. I actually liked Dial a great deal. I can't say it was better than Last Crusade. But it was nice to see some of the old cast still being around. I don't go to theaters any more. But my older kid bought tickets to the movie for the family.

The Nazis found the Ark, and everything that happened in the movie would have happened even if Jones had never existed.
You're forgetting the part about the correct dig site location being encoded on both sides of the medallion. The Nazis only had one side of it.

Amy Farrah Fowler has lot to explain for this movie being ruined for men everywhere. I love the "Ark" one and the one with "Crusades" in it was fairly good. "Temple" and "Crystal Skull" left a lot to be desired. I'll probably wait for it to come out on CD before I get it.

I didn't mind any of them.
But I would put temple of doom in a different category.
It was very high on the "cheese" factor.
Not as good of a movie as any of the others for sure, but there are a lot of scenes that I get a kick out of.
Monkey brains, bugs, burning hearts etc.....
like old time "bad" scifi.

I half-expected to not like this movie...but, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been a fan of the original 3 for as long as I can remember...only saw the fourth one once.

Nicely paced, plenty of fan service - but not in a cheesy, in your face kind of way. The young Harrison Ford CGI stuff was pretty impressive.

For anyone who is just looking for a pleasant movie, I'd definitely recommend.
