Was just looking over Peterson. I much prefer silver band. But their Irish Made Army occasionally catches my eyes. I have been doing really well with PAD for a month or two. Then just browsing the Irish Made Army and their bulldog caught my eyes. It's like "shut up and take my money!" Damn. Had to add a tin to go over free shipping. Thank gods it's relatively low end pipe.

Whatever you do, don’t scope out their Derry line with acrylic army mount stems. ???

Same thing happened to me. I saw the new Peterson's Irish Made Army series and ordered one from my danged cell phone's web browser while in a doctor's exam room (didn't tell him though).
I've also enjoyed a well controlled PAD for a couple of months, and some how ended up ordering 3x pipes in 2x days!

Love my Peterson's...Although for some reason, not a one, not the Dracula's nor the Kinsale's or the Aran's will pass a pipe cleaner. Maybe it's me. Anyway, Congratulations and I wish you years of enjoyment with your new Pete!

It’s not you... it’s Peterson. It’s pretty well known that most bent Petersons won’t pass a cleaner. Some people don’t mind about that. However, some of us do mind, hence the only Pete in my small little rotation is a straight shape. I do really like my one Peterson though.

Didn't know that. Thought it was just another of my newbie issues. Thanks for the info. Still love em though!

It used to bother me and it was one of the issues that stopped me from buying Petes for quite a while.

Then I had a thought "your friends still like you in spite of your faults"

I love the look of Petes. And if they won't pass a cleaner, I'm not letting that stop me from buying one, if I like other things about it.
