I am by no means a tea totaler, but I can assure you that alcohol abuse causes more

illness, injury and crime, devastates more relationships, and burdens insurance and health

care providers far more than tobacco. Ask any hospital emergency room worker.

California is coming up short on their revenues from tobacco taxes so they leaped into action and raised the tax on a pack of cigs by over $1.00. When the well runs dry, dig deeper.
