Image uploading problem...

Hi, I'm new here. Is it possible to upload images of my pipes from my I-pad? Thanks.

You need to have a link to post photos so you need to store your photos on an image storage site like Photo Bucket etc, then use the link provided and the box marked IMG place the link there then hit the Close box and you image becomes available. Uploading the photo from your iPad to Photo Bucket is easy when you choose to upload simply choose Photo Library from the iPad and choose the photo(s) to upload, each photo is given its own unique link, regards.

You can upload to your album here at the site, then post pix from that link. I do this from my iPhone. Explore your account and profile page for the album.

I've gotten photos into my album from my computer, but don't know how to link to them in a post. I assume they appear embedded when you do so.

Once you have uploaded the images to your album, do the following:
1. Go to your album and click on the thumbnail of the image that you want to share, so that you open the image's page.

2. If you are using a Mac, hold down the "control" key and click on the image to open a pop up menu and select "copy image location". If you are on a PC, I believe that you right click to access the same pop up menu. In either case you want to select "copy image location".

3. Go to the forum and click in your reply window.

4. Select "IMG" from the menu above and paste the image location that you copied, into the IMG window. Click OK. You will see the image location flanked by IMG.

5. Click "send post". Your image will appear in your post.
