Our local reservation has some Chinese cobs for I believe $2.99.....I'll need to check that.....but they are well under $5.
It's sad to think that someone has probably bought and smoked one, then gave up on pipe smoking. :)

When I started just a few years ago in 2018, a Missouri Pride cob or Ozark hardwood could each be had for under $5. I think I paid $6 for my first pipe, a Legend. Insanely good deals for real, proper pipes made in the US. They are still a good value IMHO, even as the prices have crept up. I'm glad Missouri Meerschaum is still alive and kicking, and hope they will be for a long time.

I try to steer people away form those burnout-prone hunks of crap whenever I see them mentioned. Why would anyone bother when the real deal is just a few dollars more?
