Where does one find a real block meerschaum on a budget of $50? Thanks!

Some of Yanik's plainer meerschaums usually go for that price on eBay. He's a 3rd generation carver from Turkey where, as he says in his auctions, the best meerschaum comes from.
I have one of his meers, it was ... $52 if I remember correctly. Came in an excellent hardcase too:

You'll probably see some of his more elaborate designs going for a lot more. It took bidding on about 10 of them before I won that one, they're pretty popular.

Thanks, rothnh, I just ordered a decent-looking one from the piper island page you recommended for $47 including shipping.
