The first time I laid on this pipe the first thing that struck me was how perfectly it resembled an apple, then my eyes drank in the gorgeous texture and cragginess of the pipe which led me to the most perfect Cumberland stem I have laid my eyes on, the pipe was made by Michael Butera, it is a Grade B Textured Classic Grade made 30 years ago. When I purchased it the pipe had been so lightly smoked it wasn't even broken in, that is no longer the case.
Originally I stated the MM cob I was trying to identify was filled with the last of the F&T Cut Virginia Plug but I was mistaken since I filled this yesterday evening with every intention to smoke it but it got late, needless to say it's keeping it smokey now.
