Hello from Corinto Nicaragua. I have a huge problem. No where in this country sells pipe tobacco. Hand rolled cigars made in Nica and Cuba are all over, in every small town also. I found a 1 ounce bag of " Blonde" pipe tobacco in a market in Managua, but they wanted 150 Cordobas for it, about $7 US. I didn't buy it. I've sent emails to some of the tobacco sponsors of this forum. They don't answer my emails. Please, someone give me some suggestions.

Thank you for your reply, but I don't live in South America. I live in Central America. I just got a reply from P&C, They will not ship to me. The Nica postal service here is very good.

Hi

I live in Israel. We have pipe tobacco shops but the range of tobaccos is not so wide. So I order part of my tobacco from this site. If you have international credit card like AmEx or Visa this should not be a problem.
If you have questions or tax issues go to "Contact Us" on this site and write a note to Rich Gotlieb, the owner. He is nice and helpful guy.

Hi Spud. Man, can I feel you pain. I lived in Costa Rica for about 5 years in the 90's and none of the tobacconists sold pipe tobacco (although I met a Costa Rican tobacconist at IPCPR and apparently they do sell pipe tobacco in Escazu). I would typically bring down a couple of pounds whenever I travelled back and forth to the U.S.
I actually spent 6 fantastic weeks near you in Mechpa and Jiquilillo in 2011 right before I came to work here at Lane. My wife also runs a non-profit (talica.org) that does work on Ometpe. Not sure when we're getting down there next, but shoot me a PM.

Thank you guys for your responses. I ordered from cup- o- joes, They were very helpful though I thought their shipping charges were high. I'll be checking your suggestions, no more running out for me.
Jud:I bought some cigars down here one time, they were so strong I gave them away. Do you know of any Nica cigars that are mild?
