I Hurt My Finger

It's nothing serious except that I ended up with my right index finger bandaged up.I'm suppose to keep it dry so there are several things I cant do without a rubber glove on that hand.When you're sitting in your chair trying to use the remote,hold a glass,or light a pipe and you have a big bandage on your finger you have to really concentrate on not dropping things or your lap could get wet or very hot.I should be back in proper working order in a few days.

i just cut my finger open cooking yesterday and ended up with a few stitches....so i know your pain.

Of all the many things we routinely take for granted, fingers have got to be at the top of the list.

I sliced mine open cutting colby cheese years ago and ended up with stitches...been there, done that, wasn't fun.

I've been having bad luck with cuts lately.

Was sharpening a knife a few weeks ago when my niece walked past and bumped into me. Sliced the very tip of my finger off, bled for two days.

Then I had a freak accident going downhill on a 4 Wheeler. My backpack fell of the front of the ATV and I had to drive over it before I could get stopped. What I didnt realize is that it shoved the tip of my hunting knife through its sheath and through the bottom of the bag. Got a big surprise when I tossed the bag on the rack and pulled a bungee cord over it and sliced the back of my finger nearly to the bone.

I am sorry that I was rude and unconcerning.

If your not retired than whatever you do it will be the first thing to be hit.

People forget about the functions of toes and fingers and everyday use.

Hang that hand down and see what happens -- throbbing.
